Fully programmed and automated swing jib: 6 axis Sedge crane & 6 axis Universal Robot

Sedge has collaborated with Universal Robots in an R&D project to create a powered 12 axis robot with a reach of 4 meters in a 360 degree range and a lifting capacity of just under 1T. Access and programming can be conducted in a fully remote manner. Should the robot arm be touched, the operation automatically stops to ensure safety. This collaboration allows the UR Cobot to always be in the location required to fullfill the task at hand.
